Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item upgrading an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can add an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at discounts.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional benefit or benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them extra effects or an increased quality of the Best item upgrade. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
